*Ways to pay in Uganda:
You have a minimum loss when you bring Euro's and exchange them here in Uganda shilling. Your bankcard, Visa or MasterCard do work in a terminal on which you can make withdrawals of €300 a day.
You can only pay with cash money. Some larger hotels accept Visa.

*Visa:
You pay $100 at the customs at the airport of Uganda. There you get a stamp which is valid for 3 months. This visa also can be used for Kenia, Rwanda and Tanzania.

*Medication:
- Vaccination against yellow fever ( also bring your vaccination card)
- Vaccination hepatitis
- Bring your personal medication. Also products like read fluid, mosquito repellent, sun tan lotion, ...
- A doctors visit or medication is payed in cash.

*Transport:
Boda-boda is a motorcycle with driver that brings you where you want to go. Quite cheap, always try to bargain.
The white taxi-vans, called Matatu, are more for the main roads , driving from village to village. Just put out your hand on the side of the road and you can always drive along (with many others :)).
You can always rent a car but we advice not to. Traffic is chaos and we drive on the left side of the road.
